Nvidia Investor Crypto Case Lets Justices Weigh Claims of Intent

The US Supreme Court’s review of a shareholder lawsuit over Nvidia Corp.’s crypto-mining revenue gives the court a chance to decide what plaintiffs must allege to demonstrate that corporate executives intended to defraud them.

Investors have accused Nvidia of hiding how dependent the chipmaker was on revenue from crypto mining before a 2018 market downturn. The company’s public statements conflicted with its own internal reports, they allege.
