EPA Releases New Plan to Protect Agency Employees and Buildings

The EPA laid out a plan on Thursday to safeguard its programs, labs, supply chains, and employees from climate change impacts that are growing increasingly menacing.

Broadly, the four-year plan will see the Environmental Protection Agency take steps like developing plans to protect employees from extreme heat and rain, fixing roofs and air conditioning equipment at vulnerable buildings, and partnering up with federal, state, and local agencies that share the same physical space to coordinate their responses.
