Second gentleman <-bsp-person state="{"_id":"00000190-476b-d497-a7fb-ef6fd10b0000","_type":"00000160-6f41-dae1-adf0-6ff519590003"}">Doug Emhoff said reelecting President Joe Biden is crucial for combating antisemitism and accused Donald Trump of “fanning the flames” of hatred in comments after speaking at the site of a 2018 synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh.

Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, called the US election in November a “binary” choice between Biden, who is “moving forward against hate and antisemitism,” and Trump — who has cited his record on Israel in <-bsp-bb-link state="{"bbDocId":"SAKJOXDWX2PS","_id":"00000190-476b-d497-a7fb-ef6fd10d0000","_type":"0000016b-944a-dc2b-ab6b-d57ba1cc0000"}">attacking Jews who vote for Democrats.
