Trump ‘Fake Electors’ Prosecution in Nevada Dismissed by Court

A Nevada state judge on Friday dismissed charges against six individuals involved in the false certification of former President Donald Trump as the winner of the state’s 2020 presidential election.

Clark County District Court Judge <-bsp-person state="{"_id":"00000190-3ca1-d497-a7fb-fcadf2870000","_type":"00000160-6f41-dae1-adf0-6ff519590003"}">Mary Kay Holthus, who sits in Las Vegas, found that the Nevada attorney general’s office had brought the case in the wrong state jurisdiction. The judge announced her decision from the bench. A written order was not immediately available but a spokesperson for the attorney general’s office confirmed the decision.
