Teladoc Directors Blamed for Platform Marketing Cost Fallout (2)

Teladoc Health Inc.'s board members are responsible for millions of dollars in upcoming investigation and litigation expenses for understating its BetterHelp online counseling unit’s marketing needs, an investor says in a new derivative suit.

The directors breached their fiduciary duties, shareholder Anand Roy says on behalf of the company. Roy filed his complaint June 18 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The suit follows a proposed class action filed May 17 with similar allegations of a major miss in comparison to projections on advertising costs and their impact on 2023 revenue. The Feb. 20 ...
