Samsung Sued for Infringing Patents for User Input Inventions

Technology Samsung Electronics America Inc. uses in its Galaxy S23 mobile phones and other mobile devices infringe three of Keyless Licensing LLC patents for technology used to make user input in mobile devices easier, a suit filed in federal court says.

Mobile devices pose input issues related to their size, the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas says. They must also balance the user’s need for efficient inputs with the ability to easily operate the device, it says.
