House Ways and Means Republicans pressed the IRS on its remote work policy in a letter Tuesday, expressing concern about the impact on security of information and customer service levels.
Ten members, led by Reps. David Kustoff (R-Tenn.) and Ron Estes (R-Kan.) signed the letter, obtained by Bloomberg Tax, asking IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel for information on how many employees work from home and what information they have access to.
