Baker McKenzie Adds Partner Emmanuel Sala to Firm’s Tax Practice

Emmanuel Sala has joined Baker McKenzie’s North American tax practice as a partner in its Toronto office, the firm said Thursday.

Sala has experience advising companies on complex domestic and international tax matters with respect to mergers, tax reorganizations, financing transactions and acquisitions, and represents taxpayers in disputes with the Canadian tax authorities, according to Baker McKenzie.

He also advises domestic and foreign private equity investment funds from creation through multi-jurisdiction transactions, the firm said.
